Izzy is looking better every day! They put different tape on her mouth and it's pushing her chubby cheeks down. She looks like a cute little granny 😊
Earlier in the day they were thinking that her tube would come out today. At the end of the day she had some pretty heavy mucous so they decided not to pull it... maybe tomorrow!
The nurse practitioner didn't hear her heart murmur today, so that could either be a good sign, that the vessel is pretty well closed, or a bad sign that it's still wide open. We really won't know until they do another ultrasound and actually look at her heart. They will continue with the Tylenol treatment for 7 days and then they will do the next ultrasound.
She is doing well with her feedings again. She is up to 4mL with each feeding and she now has Care times every 3 hours rather than every 6.
Isabelle loves to open her sweet eyes. Especially at Care times she is always moving her eyebrows up and down and looking at everyone.
