Today we learned that Izzy has ANOTHER hole in her heart! Geez. In addition to the VSD, they now say she also has an ASD, a hole in between the atria in her heart. Just like the VSD they hope that it just closes on its own, and it's likely that it will but we'll have to wait and see. Its not causing her any harm so they're not too worried about it.
She went up on her vent settings a little today. Such a roller coaster! They don't seem too worried that she's still on the ventilator so we'll just let her stay on it until she's ready.
Still a negaitve on her last culture! Crossing our fingers that it stays that way!
