They switched Isabelle from the oscillator ventilator to the "step 2" ventilator haha I have no idea what to call it other than that. She's still intubated on this ventilator and she has been doing good on it so far! If her CO2 gets any higher they will probably put her back on the oscillator but most likely she'll stay on this one for a bit.
They are waiting to hear back from primary children's (they do consults with primary's when it comes to infection.) They are seeing how long primary's wants them to do antibiotics and how many more cultures she needs to have done. The nurse was saying she could be on antibiotics between 10-30 days (hopefully just 10!) and they'll most likely do at least 1 more blood culture.
She weighs 2lbs. 3oz. And she's eating 18mL at every feeding. She hasn't been having any belly problems which is SO GOOD! Hoping that continues!
