Izzy is still doing fantastic! We talked to our nurse today and she said that we could try what's called non-nutritive breastfeeding on Sunday! Non-nutritive is when I pump and get all the milk out and then we put Izzy to breast and let her try sucking while no milk is coming out. I'm excited to try it! I think she will do great, it's the swallowing part of breastfeeding that I'm worried about. I remember on the night she was born they told us we could start breastfeeding at week 34 and I thought that was forever away, and now it's almost here! Time has passed quickly (thank goodness) and we are getting really excited to bring her home in the next month or so!
