They decided to run a CRP test on Izzy today to see if there might be anything causing all these episodes that she's having. The CRP came back elevated, which just means that there's inflammation somewhere in her body. She has a little infection on her hand where her last IV was put, so it could be from that. They did a CBC and a blood culture to make sure there isn't anything more serious. The CBC came back "not worrisome" and the blood culture hasn't come back positive... yet. She also just had immunizations which naturally makes the CRP elevated, so we're not too worried about it.
She has actually been doing leaps and bounds better with her ABDs! The past couple days she's had at least 2 per hour but she only had 5 or 6 today so that's great news, hopefully she continues!
She had a bath tonight and I missed it..again! They do her baths at 6 and I always forget to stay longer on those days. The nurse said she really liked her bath and they put clothes on her tonight! She looked so cute with the piggies on her toes.
